Are you working on a labor arts, culture, or history project and looking for performers, writers, musicians, designers, researchers, or other collaborators to help bring it to life? The Labor Heritage Foundation can connect you with our network of artists, activists, and organizers.

Send an email to info@laborheritage.org with "Artists Exchange" in the subject line. Tell us about your project, where you are in the process, and the kind of help you're looking for, and we'll spread the word through our network.

Whether you're developing a play, musical, documentary, podcast, exhibit, book, concert, oral history project, or something entirely new, Artists Exchange is designed to help labor artists and storytellers find one another and build connections.

Please note: While we cannot secure funding for your project, we may be able to connect you with people who can help strengthen and develop it so that it's ready to present to potential funders and sponsors.

  • 8/18/2026: Oregon coast poet Logan Garner is seeking artists, workers and organizers interested in exchanging ideas for a poetry collection exploring class and labor, particularly in blue-collar industries along the Lower Columbia River. Rather than surveying entire industries, the collection will focus on the often-unseen moments, routines and rituals of working life. Garner, a DSA member and Local Workforce Development Board employee, is developing the project as part of the University of British Columbia’s low-residency MFA program. He expects to complete his thesis next summer and hopes to prepare the manuscript for publication by the end of 2027. Interested in connecting with Logan or know someone who might be? Email him at logangarnerpoetry@gmail.com

  • 8/11/2026: “I'm in the process of composing pseudo avant-garde poetry themed on the Labor Struggle and Civil Rights,” writes Daniel Moss. “Wanted to potentially connect/share with folx who might be interested.” Reach him at calabresedani@gmail.com
