Elise Bryant has been the Director of the DC Labor Chorus, the Executive Director of the Labor Heritage Foundation, and has held many other offices and roles. Elise is also a playwright, and she will perform her one-woman show Queen of the Night at Marriottsville Maryland's Soup and Song on August 15th at 2:00 PM. It is an autobiographical work that tells us how she became the multi-hatted dynamo that we know and love.
The menu for August 15 includes “A Wascawy Wabbit’s Vichychyssoise.” Please note that all Soup and Song's soups are completely vegan. A chalk board lists the ingredients, in case you have any allergy concerns. They also invite you to bring snacks to share.
The suggested contribution is $25, but as always, no one will be turned away. (For those new to Soup and Song, all the money they take in at the door goes to the performer.) If you plan on coming, contact Soup and Song so they can be sure to have the right seating. Also, if you have any special seating needs, such as mobility issues, please let them know in advance. They will do their very best to accommodate you.
Please join us for fun, music … and soup!
