About this event
Tells the story of the 1999 “Battle of Seattle,” when tens of thousands of union members joined environmentalists, students, and community activists to shut down the World Trade Organization meetings. Drawing on rare archival footage shot in the streets, the film captures a pivotal moment when labor stood at the center of a global movement challenging corporate globalization and demanding that trade rules put workers and communities first.
