About the Artists:
Creek Don’t Rise blends blues, rock, and soul with Appalachian roots. The band describes its music as “raw soul dripping with Appalachian blues” where “you will feel every note and live every word.” Whether on stage as a full band or in their duo form, Marcus and Jerry deliver songs that carry the sound and spirit of this place. Join them in Matewan for an intimate session in the Community Center above the West Virginia Mine Wars Museum.
