About this event

Beautifully shot in the Badlands of South Dakota, this docu-fiction is based on the true story of a tough, recently-widowed rancher Tabatha Zimiga, who rescues and resells horses via Tic Tok while simultaneously providing refuge for local wayward teens.  Faced with declining horse sales, Tabatha struggles to maintain her ranch as a wealthy outsider offers to buy her out.  Tabatha and two of her children play themselves in this authentic portrait of women’s resilience in the “New West.”
