Times Guild members greeted guests at The New York Times’ 175th anniversary celebration last week with fliers and a message truck, calling for a fair contract.
The union says health care costs and protections for journalists’ work as AI expands remain sticking points. It also says an officer warned protesters they could be arrested near the venue; the Guild has protested the incident to management.
