In an update to a story we’ve previously reported on, Magic: The Gathering's Arena workers have voted to form a union with the Communication Workers of America. The National Labor Relations Board’s website shows that when the count was finalized on Tuesday, June 23rd 79 votes were cast in favor of unionization versus 16 against.
In a statement on its website, and shared to various social media platforms, the United Wizards of the Coast account revelled in the victory. "After months of planning, waiting and organizing, our dream is finally a reality… from this day forward, we have a union!"
