Writers at CBS News 24/7 have unanimously ratified a new three-year contract with CBS News/Paramount, securing industry-leading protections around generative AI, including advance notice, byline protections, and enhanced severance for layoffs tied to AI.
The agreement, negotiated by the Writers Guild of America East, also includes wage increases, a $1,500 bonus, higher salary minimums, and improved workplace safety and benefits.
