Ralph Fasanella’s Lawrence 1912 / Working the Night Shift #2 (Mill Workers) is one of four of his paintings up for bid this weekend at Shapiro Auctions Autumn Sale, “an unprecedented offering of an important selection of my father’s paintings drawn from the family collection,” says his son Marc Fasanella. The other three are Love Goddess, Nocturne and Night Nude. The online catalogue includes essays from Marc Fasanella’s book, Ralph Fasanella: Images of Optimism.
