LHF at Takoma Park Folk Festival: Buttons, Books, and Big Conversations

Chris Garlock | Published on 9/8/2025
LHF staffers Chris Garlock and Hetty Scofield—joined by Board Chair Saul Schniderman—talked labor arts with attendees at the Takoma Park Folk Festival yesterday. They handed out buttons, posters, Mother Jones DVDs, books, and notecards, while signing up more than 70 new subscribers to the LHF newsletter. Many members and supporters stopped by the table, including Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, who offered ideas for next year’s DC Labor FilmFest.
