Glenstone Museum Employees Unionize

Workers at Glenstone, the sprawling contemporary art museum in Montgomery County, Maryland, are moving to unionize. Nearly 100 hourly employees — roughly half the Glenstone workforce — would be represented by Glenstone Museum Workers United under the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. “I think that this is an important next step in the life and livelihood and longevity of the institution,” said Elizabeth Shaw, grounds and visitor experience liaison at Glenstone.
